I think I'm retarded!! Really! Please help
 

Here is my situation:

It could be in my head. I burnt third gear so I had to get a new t-56. The car went into the shop when the outside temp was a lot cooler. When I got it back I put new y2k c5 wheels on it if that matters.

My point here is that the car feels slower. I can feel a 10-15 hp (guess) between when the car is running at warm up and when the car is at normal operating temp I feel a rather noticeable loss in power.

I must also mention when I put on the front y2k's (17in) I found out I needed spacers for the back to fit. So I made a run with the 17's on the front and stock 16's on the rear. My car would not idle down under 1500k after about a mile. Almost like my egr tube o-ring had fallen in again. It checked out ok though.

It feels like my timing is retarding at normal operating temp (180). Could the wheel size difference have tripped a code? When I got the car back the temp outside has also jumped to the high 80's here but I didn't notice a difference last year as far as outside temp.

Am I retarded or is my timing?

Highly doubtful. The place that put the trans in may have done something wrog.

only time my car runs like crap is when i forget to plug my MAF sensor back in, or when the "ENG SENSOR" fuse blows

I believe the problem started when I put 87 oct in, in a pinch.

I went back to the 93 oct and reset the pcm and the problem is fixed. Thanks guys
