Shift time(sec) Vs %TPS Vs Shift Table Shift time(sec) Vs %TPS Vs Shift table on tunercat....can i zero it out to get quicker shifts? any adverse effects ? |
If you zero the shift-time tables you will disable adaptive pressure learning and just work from the pressure tables. Better for shift consistency in my book. But if you set the learn-time targets to get the shift crispness you like and look at what was the line % commanded, that can be informative before you shut it off. The PCM tried to find the right answer for you. It just gets stupid when the weather changes and changes back, like. Assuming the LT1 is anything like LS1 trans control anyway. |
lt170chevelle: I use Tunercat on my 3rd gen camaro. I think that you should post over on thirdgen.org (if you haven't already). There are many guys there who tune with Tunercat and are very proficient. I may be wrong, but I think that yu are running MAP only. The connection with 3rdgen is that the last 3 years of the 3rd gen Fbodies were MAP only (speed density). |
ok thanks for the info jimmyblue. and yeah good point doc99ss i will check them out see what they have to say. |
