What's the difference in these two tunes?

Sorry for the stupidity of the question but I'm new to tuning. Anyways, whats the difference between sending my PCM in to like PCMforless or madz28 and actually taking it to a dyno and getting it tuned? Thanks guys.

mail order tune is just a guess based on your mods. Works ok but just because one car is running perfect with the tune doesn't mean your will. Dyno tune is set for YOUR car and really alot better
