Can a Diablosport tuner for a 00 LS1 be a normal ODB2 reader/code clearer?

Default Can a Diablosport tuner for a 00 LS1 be a normal ODB2 reader/code clearer?

Just wondering if it can be a normal reader/clearer for other vehicle?

Assuming you are using it on a vehicle that talks on the same bus.

Nice. It won't care if the other vehicle doesn't have the same VIN for just reading and clearing the codes, right?

Yep,

Not sure which bus that ECM is on, but you can check codes, etc if the VIN is different. Won't hurt anything to try it

I've used mine on my neighbor's Saturn and girlfriend's Cavalier, even shows real time data.

OP would be a U7198 classII tool, sounds like he wants to read codes on a CAN equipped car, not sure if that will work or not.
I believe I tried it once and it let me read but not clear??

Either way, give it a shot, will not hurt anything...
