Default Stopped Edit Read did I fry PCM

I was having trouble establishing a connection with LS1-Edit.When connection made I stopped Read by accident thinking connection was not made.Car will not run.I successfully flashed with new tune but still will not run.Tryed another PCM from friend and it started. What to do now?
Thanks

Stopping during the READ should not harm the PCM, It is when you are uploading that will damage it, Try installing it back in, turn on the ignition, pull the PCM fuse, turn off the ignition and replace the fuse, I have done this on a couple of occasions where the PCM gets in a Frozen state, Did this and the cars started up every time...

Since you disconnected it, that would be a power cycle, and it may work, I guess the bootloader was still running, and the ecm would not respond to the read request.

But the fact you sucessfully flashed it after this, makes me wonder what caused it to fail?

moehorsepower and slow, thanks for the reply. I did try the fuse trick - No luck. Went to Chev this morning and they are clueless.I sent it off to Wait4Me, Jes thinks he can help.

Will the PCM not respond to an additional request to flash the memory?
