swapping PCM's and I already have edit??

I already have edit and I have a chance to get a pcm that should already be tuned for my motor. I know the VIN will be differant and edit won't work. Is there any way I can do this? I would be swapping my pcm for the tuned one. Will carputing change my vin's?

most likely they will not ... well they will add it to your cable for $150 + 50 (handling fee)

why not pull the data from the new pcm, and edit it to your old one?
