The spoiler adds to the sexyness of the car IMO. Personally I like the Mecham rear spoiler for the T/A's a little more than the stock one.

I have actually thought about what my Trans Am would look like without the spoiler and surely enough someone actually did it! I have mixed feelings on this modification. Yes when you have grown attached to the whole factory styling package of a Trans Am you could not bear to shave off the rear spoiler as it without a DOUBT completes that "Sexy" look of our cars... However I have wondered though if our rear spoiler may actually act to place unwanted aerodynamic resistance on the car for throughway driving and not providing any significant down force for racing applications. So if the rear spoiler on our Trans Ams were to be removed, would it increase aerodynamic efficiency? I am not sure if it approaches the kammback/boat tail design efficiency that the new car designs are trying to adapt into their styles but it is somewhat close in my eyes ALL THOUGH not very attractive! It's hard to decide on which way to go if removing the spoiler decreases aerodynamic drag...

thats demonic bird (brandon) Im pretty sure he was a cam only record holder for some time. that was one bad *** stripped down STREET car. I wana say manual brakes, manual steering, gutted interior except for the driver and passenger seats, electric water pump, if he could ditch it he did and still drove that car everywhere as is lol.

I saw a black TA without a spoiler down here about a year ago while I was driving, didn't like it at all lol.
