Default 98-02 WS6 Stage + HP ?

First off Hello.

I have a 2000 WS6 Vert ram air. I must say its pretty quick. Faster than I used to give credit for being I do have a 300TT.

In most of the forums that I used to frequent for the 300TT they had a staging list. With the stages were the components and their Hp increments. I am very surprised on the couple of LS1 forums that I have looked at none have this stickied at the top of the sections for this car. I must say this is the most informative LS1 site I have ran across this far.

Has anyone seen any kind of write up like this and could give me some direction.

I just want to build a solid Streetable 425+hp.

So far I have : Hooker Supercomp Headers,3" pipe front to back connecting into the Borla Exhaust with Quads "just bought it today actually". The complete SLP cold air Induction package and the SLP strut tower.

I need to buy the 85mm TB and smooth bellow. I will buy that with my next check not a problem. I know I will need a ECU programmer. Anyone have any and would like to share their opinions?

I am just to new to this car and I need some insight that I know alot of yall here have. Please feel free to guide me and explain.

Thanks Capt SpankyDXM

Well, the best thing to do would be a head and cam packages. Depending on what you get that will put you at your 425 hp mark or at least close (depending on the money you are wanting to put in it.)

cam/heads/exhaust/intake/lid should be close to 425+?

We don't use "stages" in the domestic world. It's based on track times, not dyno numbers.

cam, headers, catted y pipe, u/d pulley, lid, exhaust, dyno tune, and stock heads netted me 423 at the wheels....the stock tb is good for well over 425....personally i'd invest money elsewhere on other mods. Biggest thing is getting the right cam and having someone tune the car that knows what the hell they're doing

I was leaning to get a LS6 polished intake and TB in the near future when I change the cam.

The exhaust I have has no cats at all. Full 3" mandrel bends throughout. I just need to put it on a table and buff out the headers to the tips before installation.

I am just surprised they dont have a chart available for diffrent parts and hp comparisons to go along with them.

I guess because theres so many options available.

thanks for the replies
