Time to try and fix her up a little
Well I just hit 77K on my car and its getting a little worn out, I get paid this week and i wanted to kind of establish a list of things that need to get replaced on her, mechanically and stuff.
I just did the power steering fluid/break fluid. What other things do i need? any specific brands i should look at. The car is all stock with the exception of magnaflow's.
Things i know i need but want recommendations on parts and where and how to get it done
-Window motors (both)
-Dash(one loooooooong crack)
-breaks-got the car with 56k and haven't replaced them and now they squeak
-belt(s)- strange sounds after the motors warmed up for a while.

I would suggest
- Transmission Service
- Brake Pad Replacement (I keep OEM on my completely stock 98)
- Serpentine and AC Belt Replacements (Delco)
- Tensioner pulley replacements (Delco, had to replace mine at 90k)
- Cooling System Flush
- Cooling System Hose Replacement, Especially the Heater Core Hose Assembly
- New Shocks
- New Springs
- If your car is like mine, new rubber around the T-Tops to stop leaking
- New Spark Plugs and Wires (For plugs, I use Delco Iridiums and I use Stock Replacment Wires)
- New Air Filter if you rarely change yours
- Also, I would do a general rust check so you dont have rot destroying your car years down the road.

Gatorback belts just seem to last a bit longer than the OE replacement belts do. My thoughts...if NASCAR uses them and they spin their motors higher than most of us in daily use, than they can't be all that bad. Just my .02

I would suggest
- Transmission Service

+1 on the Gatorback belt. I thought Gates/Napa was a good belt but they didn't last long, squeel and show a lot of cracks quick.
I think wheel bearings hold up pretty good on these cars but you never know what the previous owner could have damaged. I would just jack it up and feel for play/spin it!
