Default what are the chances????

since i bought my 02 CETA i have noticed the shifting to get a bit harder. it has the 6 speed and sometimes with the clutch fully pressed it dosen wanna go intofirst (at a stop) then the other day i took the wheels off to put some c5 z06 wheels on it to see how they look. (they look good) but i noticed that one of he previous owners had some fatter tires on because there were some rub marks.

so my question is what are the chances that the clutch is starting to go, possibly from hard driving from another owner? and whats the best replacement clutch for it (never going to top 450-500 hp at the crank)?

any tips are appreciated

As for the clutch going I don't know, but as for replacement clutches i've heard the LS7 clutch is a good replacement. Good price, and it can withstand 500hp at the crank. Only catch is you HAVE to use a different flywheel when using the LS7 clutch disc(comes with an LS7 flywheel anyways). Here's a link:

Its probably not the clutch. Its most likely the slave cylinder going bad. How many miles are on the car?
