Default Should I go with dual Single 3.5" tips on a Trans Am? Magnaflow systems on sale cheap

I had the dual dual borla's on my 99 TA ten years ago. Well I bought another Trans Am, and I am looking at cat backs.

I am asking because a sponser has the Magnaflow stainless dual 3.5" slash cut system for $360 SHIPPED! Which is an AWSOME deal... I can pick up the Dual Dual Magnaflow for $550 shipped.

I know that I would like the dual dual better, but what do you guys think of the single 3.5 inch tips on each side?

Back in the day, I bought the crappy flowmaster 3" system and I hated the way the tips looked. I am not sure what a .5" difference would make.

Opinions appreciated.

I have the single tips - dual exhaust by magnaflow, I love it...especially with the electronic 3 inch cutout on it. I have no regrets. The only difference is the tips, the exhaust itself is the same. I just didn't think the tips were worth a couple hundred bucks. Besides the single ports are so polished, it looks like chrome and I bought mine 2nd hand.

the look of the tips are a big deal to me, but for two hundred bucks I am not sure how big of a deal they really are.

I am gonna be in Baton Rouge tomorrow, and I am thinking about going by thunder racing to see if they will honor KYspeeds price. If they will do the $350 for the mag catback I am gonna buy.

I don't like single tips on TA's either. I guess I am trying to talk myself into the sale price of that magnaflow system. 360 bucks shipped is KILLER freaking deal.

However I like 4" tips on the trans ams. I think that looks pretty dang good.

Buy that $360 system, sell the tips it comes with to a guy with a Camaro. Then get a nice set of Corsa clones.

The Trans Am bumper is the most perfect shape for dual/dual. Don't waste it.

CETA mod and dumped at the axle. Don't worry about filling it those bumper cut outs.
