Default Cracked upper door panels? Is it worth replacing them, or is it going to happen again

I thought about sanding the backside where it cracks on a non cracked panel, and plastic welding additional material to strengthen the area.

There is a write up on here for how to fix and/or prevent it. Been a while since I have seen it, but it is here.

I would replace it and do what the write up says to prevent it.. If you care that much.
