Finally may have mine fixed and back on the road after a 7 year down time. Fought through a P0200 code and replaced Injectors, PCM, injector plug just to mention a few. Gotta drive it to get the pcm to reset, get it inspected, registered and on the road again. Can't believe in a few months my car will be 20 years old.

Heard about those but since I am the only one that ever jacks up my car anymore cant justify that $100 on those, although good idea for a daily driver car I suppose, you exhaust is super clean!

Strano Parts carries them

http://www.stranoparts.com/searchbym...=375&ModelID=7

It looks like a simple install, and it is, but If your fender flanges look like 10 year old over cooked steak-ums you're in for a miserable time. Just be prepared.

I got my WS6 detailed, paint corrected, ceramic coated. I am super happy with how it all came out. The video doesn't do it justice.

I installed my Strano Brake Master Cylinder Brace today. Easy install and I can tell a difference in brake pedal feel. Happy with results and I believe well worth the money.

Got a wild hair and have spent the past few nights working on her. Finished up my wire tuck mod coils, main power wire, fan control relay and the starter wire are now tucked out of site . Re did the grounds to hide them.as well. Driver side does not look this neat haha

Have to pull the passenger valve.cover one more.time and secure the exam harness now that the AC is gone it can wiggle more than i.like. then it's gas and some.road time.whilenits.pretty! I have a few more engine dress up things in the works.but they may be after summer projects. New water.pump alternator braided power steering.lines. but first she needs.a bath and some.miles

Airbrushed my intake manifold. I have to replace the broken MAP sensor in the rear. Just figured out which pigtail goes to the MAP sensor, and what the 2nd pig tail is for is for a sensor that is screwed in the back of the block in the middle just behind the valley pan. Not sure if that's an oil pressure sensor or something else but I have to bolt the manifold down, connect everything and should be good to fire it up, clear the knock sensor codes and drive it around and see if I can then get my state inspection stickers on it without any more problems. Then ill be legal to drive it without a problem.
I polished the throttle body as well. Was a messy job but I think it was worth it filing off the casting flash, and sanding and sanding and got small polishing wire wheels, polishing pads and some rags, and mothers metal polish. This stuff from Mothers ROCKS! Does a fantastic job. Removes oxidation effortlessly and brings out the shine on aluminum, steel, pot metal, and everything else from my earrings, rings, car parts and everything else from door hinges in the house to door handles, kitchen drawer pulls and handles etc.
Compared to my corvettes, these F Bodies under hood lay out seems to be an after thought sadly. Just ran wires and stuff all over the place and just slammed the hood shut and the engineers at GM said OKAY GOOD ENOUGH. The Corvettes are always very well laid out, wires hidden or covered, and a very clean lay out that you are not embarrassed to open your hood. So I have a lot more to do under the hood cleaning it up, and I know from photos that a lot of you guys have paid a lot of detail to your under hood/engine presentations so I plan to follow suit and spruce up the engine bay on this car because aesthetics to me are just as important as the running performance of these things. Nothing wrong with it pretty as well as a monster......
So I did a ton of sanding and prepping to this intake manifold prior to painting it and my first go-round with it yielded that there were a few small spots that the primer did not take, from oil and contaminants being embedded into the plastic or nylon or whatever materials this intake is made from. So I had to strip it all back down again, and do the sanding process again from scratch to remove some fish eyes but the second time around it was perfect and no contaminants were present to make the primer and paint bead up like a freshly waxed car surface does with water.................
So tell me what you think? Again I am not done, just getting started with sprucing up the engine compartment and have a long way to go but I think I am off to a relatively good start. The reason I pulled the intake is the car failed state inspection because of computer trouble codes and it turns out I had to replace 1 knock sensor, so I went the extra mile and replaced both knock sensors and got a new wiring harness as well for good measure.
More to do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks All

Jennifur

Last night I spent the evening cleaning and painting my brake calipers. Tonight I finally installed my HID headlight conversion. It was long overdue and although I have not aimed them yet or even pulled it outside to see them, they look awesome and I’m glad I did it!
Tomorrow I am pulling out my old cheapo double din touch screen stereo and replacing it with a new pioneer with CarPlay and adding a bullet style rear back up camera.

I unfortunately allowed well water to dry on my car like an idiot. My good friends Will and Mike that painted my car came over to sand some spots and high speed polish the car for me. I’m going to finish up the process with some Menzerna 3000 then the 3800 before we ceramic coat it. I’m so grateful for their help.
