Had it towed. Was trying to leave work and discovered my starter was toast. No problem, had two buddies give me a little push dropped the clutch and bam, I was up and running. Half way home, coolant starts spewing from under the hood along with alot of smoke. After pulling over I figured out my thermostat decided to die in the closed position. However after the tow I went and purchased a new starter and thermostat and slapped em in there....back up and running again. Crazy just crazy.

Replaced the oil pump.
This is the second time I've done an F-body with the engine in the car.
Cliff Notes version:
1. Remove the motor mount bolts and transmission cross member.
2. Raise engine and unbolt oil pan.
3. Lower K-member 2 or 3 threads at all 6 bolts for oil pan clearance.
4. Remove oil pan, gasket, and oil pump.
Reassemble completely with all new parts then notice that the reason your (old) oil pump's pressure was too low was due to a broken 5 dollar pressure spring within the body of the pump!
Oh well, 65 psi (with cold oil) at idle now!

Got the windows tinted. 35 on the sides, 15 on the back and roof panels. Still can see out the roof easy enough, but now it has some reduction in the amount of heat coming through the roof.

They did away with our emissions tests like 7 years ago... I never passed with any car. If you spent like $200 bucks on your car they would pass you. I just always did a tune up and upgrade MAF etc to pass lol. CA prolly isn't that easy.

Had been out of town for a couple weeks and instead of resting like a normal person after driving 2200+ miles in 3 days I crawled under her and swapped the torque arm bushing then replaced the bump stops.
The torque arm bushing was pretty thrashed.
The bump stops were pretty much gone from deterioration.
