I just bought a 2000 trans am with 4k miles on it but the previous owner took off the ram air decals and I just ordered some new ones. Does anyone know the exact distance off the nose that they are placed?

4K miles!!! That's awesome!!! That thing must be in pristine condition! As far as the decals are concerned, I'm not too sure. Mine were gone when I bought mine a while back. Hopefully someone chimes in with the measurements. Congrats on the buy!

If it doesn't have decals on it you better make sure it is a real ws6 easy way to check on the door sill where the manufacturer stickers are or by the vin number

Yes it is a true WS-6 I have the window stickers and all documents stating that is an authentic WS-6. It still has the new car smell and drives wonderful, I am going to leave it 100% stock besides adding the ram air decal on the hood. Pictures will come soon.

Good call leaving it stock. A 10 year old car that hasn't been made for eight years with those miles will be way more collectible if it's all original, IMO.
Though if you spend two hours on this forum you'll have to fight hard to resist the urge.
