8k HIDs all around
bought the housings from LMC Truck, and the 8ks from DM Tuning.
Cost about 160 to do it all, but its all PLUG AND PLAY. no splicing, no crimping, nothing. you may WANT to do a bit of wire splicing and what not for durabillity, but you do not have to. I will wrap the connections in electrical tape when i get a moment. If anyone has any questions let me know.
LINKS:
Housings: lmctruck.com/icatalog/cd/full.aspx?Page=65
low beams 036-0302 - high beams 036-0303
HIDS: ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-35W-or-55W
Bulb type is 9006 for lows and 9005 for highs - 880 for fogs
again, its all PLUG AND PLAY.
Yes i know, i still need to do some fine tuning at the angle of the lights, but with these housings the light doesn't flare up and blind people.

No offense, those look terrible. 6k is about as blue as I would go, because you start loosing depth visibility and brightness as you move up the kelvin scale. And why do they look green?

ive been reading into doing this mod. you said its completely plug and play as well as unsealed beam. Besides the housings which seem easy to track down, what is needed with the ddm kit? There seems to be extra options and I didn't know if the "HID harness, error eliminator, or adaptor cables" are needed to make this work well.

Just the kit, I have 5k ddm and lmt housings, its super blue, I wish it was more white like my Lexus, but I'll live. The relay kit isn't bad because hid takes alot of power at start up, but only use 35 or 55 watts during use.
Oh I got 35 watt lows and love visibility. I recommend 55 watt hid for high beams. The 55s are blinding so only using them on high beam is smart. Hid's don't like to be flashed, and higher wattage kits wash the color out so you may want to get a slightly higher Kelvin high beam if you do different wattage lows and highs, to help them match

yes its all plug and play. kinda, there are little prongs that yo have to push into the existing bulb harness, but like i said, its all plug it in and go. most ppl will cut the exiting connector off the cars harness and crimp it to the prongs that the kit comes with. I, will just use electrical tape on them lol
EDIT: no you dont need any adaptions or error kits, works every time.
