Default 1998 TA Steering Clock Spring Help

hello everyone, i need some help...actually i have like 2 questions....1- my steering wheel radio controls have never worked even though my stereo is factory with the Monsoon system. could i possibly have a bad clock spring? 2- i ended up removing my steering wheel and taking the column apart to install new over sized pins to get rid of the wobble...it worked also. my question is....how can i be sure if my clock spring is in the correct position? is there any information around that shows you how to be sure? thanks everyone!

chances are if the radio controls never worked your CS may have been bad.....there is a CS installation guide floating out there somewhere

and CS have been long gone from GM
