Ok here is the deal, I have a 2002 ws6, 6 speed with ls6 clutch, torquer v2 cam, longtube, offroad y, custom spintech exhaust, lid, tune and other little things. It has 72000 miles, super clean no dents scratches, no cracks or rips it NMB, some guy with a 2000 corvette automatic 100k miles, borla exhaust and intanke wants to trade me plus he is giving me 3500 buck plus car, what would you guys do? Trade or not?

He just said that he will do 4grand plus car for mine, my way of looking at it is that I can sell the vette for around 14-16 grand plus the other 4 and buy a c5 Z06, or another ws6 and turbo the heck out of it

Need a lot more info on the Corvette. How can anyone here even make a wild guess? How's the condition? Do you even know if the title is clear? How does the Carfax look? Are the 100,000 miles easy highway driven miles or hard 'beaten to death' miles? Any maintenance records? What does the Corvette need right now? Tires, brakes, fluid changes, etc.. You have described your WS6 as really sweet so what are you actually getting in return? Help us out for a somewhat accurate appraisal of your situation. Otherwise it is just crazy guesstimating that has no validity. You are talking serious $$ so you want valued opinions.

The vette is nassau blue with C6 Z06 rims, he is a middle aged dude so I dot think is beat up, is look in a good condition, clean title

Also how slower would it be? In 1/4 and 1/8, Im pretty sure my TA can drop low 12s at least and 7s in the 1/8

This! Idk if youll get quite 14-16 but at the least you could move it quick for 12k and hes giving you 4k cash on top. Thats a good price for your ws6. If you arent attached I would take that deal. Buy another fbody with high miles but clean for 4-8k and build a real stout turbo car.

Huron has a killer deal on their single turbo kit complete right now for like 2700ish IIRC and they are throwing in a racetronix fuel pump kit plug and play. All youll need is the truck manifolds, delete AC, injectors, tune and you are good to go!

Thanks Willy9. Something seems amiss here though, don't you think? Why does this 'middle aged dude' want to trade his Corvette for your WS6? Plus give you $4,000? You sure about the title? His Corvette is worth about $12,000 in 'private party' fair condition. Your WS6 about $1,000 more. I'll leave it up to you at this point. This doesn't make sense on my end. There is a problem with the Corvette. Be careful!
