All of the Black/gold Bandits are Ill McNasty. espec 77 and 79. too bad they are slugs. there is a kid around here with a 78 that is his dad's car who is also a douche bag and i delivered him a sound whooping in the 94 . I think the 94-97's look good sans the stock hood

I'd have to say '69 since I own one. I think they look the best out of the 1st Gen. cars. Especially the 69 T/A. Mine is just waiting on the T/A hood and then the bodywork and paint job will be underway. Oh, and the LS1/6spd. Almost forgot that. Should look sweet with my L.G. World Challenge wheels and about a 2" drop. The 98+ WS-6 are hard to beat. Best looking cars/best performance value out there period. Gonna have to find a '99 WS-6 to match my '69 when I get it finished.

I like all years, but if I had to break it down:
1st gen: 69 as it looks are more refined than 67-8.
2nd gen: 70-73 come in 1st.
The 74-76, bland nose, nah.
77-78, great nose, 2nd.
The 79-81's headlights don't appeal to me, but the blacked out full length (not really) tail lights look cool, 3rd.
3rd gen: 82-84, bland rear & front end, nah.
85-89 tail lights & nose is very sharp.
Of course the 89 TTA with only 1455 built tops my 3rd gen list.
90-92, tail lights & nose aren't appealing all.
4th gen, I liked the TA nose (I'm partial to TA's anyway), loved it more when the ram air hood came out, but when the 98-02 nose (ram air even better) came out, I totally fell in love with it & knew I'd own one someday.
While I like the sleekness of the Firehawk hood, I like the "regular" ram air hood better as it's more "bulgy" & aggressive looking.
With that hood I tell my friends the car has the "eat you alive" look.
So that said, I like pretty much one of each generation due to styling more than performance (as we can help that part along a bit!), but while I love the 98-02's probably the best far as looks & technology at work I will go with the 69 TA 1st as only 695 were made, like I'll ever own a real one, with the 98-02 coming in 2nd, 70-73 3rd, 85-89 4th & the 77-78 comes in 5th as my favorite if I had to chose & buy in that order.

I'm going to be the odd one and say 1982-92. The 82 especially. I liked that car since I was a kid since it was on 'Knight Rider' (Season 1 coming to DVD Aug 3).
But if I had an '82, I'd start by ditching the engine and drop an LS6 in

This is going to be hard I love every single year!
I like the 1st Gen '67-'68's.
I love every year of the 2nd gen!
Huge '82-'84 fan (looks not performance) and I like the 91-92's!
Gotta love the '98-'02's!
Performance wise The '70 RAIV, '89 TTA, 91-92 Firehawks, and '98-'02 T/A's!

I think my favorite is the '69 400 or T/A (Yup, like mine, that's why I bought it) but I also love the '70-'73 and the '98-'02.
I really like the '69s over the '67s and '68s. I'm not sure what it is about them, I think the body is a bit more refined and I like the body-colored headlight surrounds.

This one is only two hours from me on the west coast of Florida. If I were a FILTHY RICH BASTARD with money to burn and a place to store it, I'd be all over it now...
