Default Trans Am Owners & Premium Gas (See pic)

I have a feeling many owners of our LS1 Trans Ams have not seen this label on their gas cap lid. Probably lost or worn out over the years. I have read so many posts from owners both here and in other sections wondering if they should use premium fuel. Yes you should, if you want the car to perform as intended. I took a photo of the label on my gas lid for anyone interested. Just click on the photo so you can read it.

I've seen and ignored it. Mid-grade works just fine for my DD

I will have to look and see if my 98 has that decal, never noticed it before. I have always run 93 or 94 (when the local Sunoco had it) in it anyways.

This is what is in the manual...

I do use premium, but using the lower octane should not cause damage, thats what the "low octane timing table" is for.

That label is not on my 2002, not that it matters I've put premium in her since 2001.

Yup, there's low octane tables for this specific reason.
