Being a hood of supreme quality and is pretty rare, I'm surprised they around $1000 off the rip.

Must have been the damaged hood that I originally received. He said he was going to repair it and had a buyer lined up for it. Pretty soon they will be $1000 or so... People have them but not many are willing to part with them and I'm sure production will slow down.

I'm also a new member to the site (not the F-bodies and had a 2006 GTO as well) and was wondering if anyone can confirm Roger's eBay name? I have a 2002 Firehawk but badly want this hood and saw one on eBay last week. I hesitated to buy it not knowing if it was the legit hood from Roger as it says or someone with a crappy cheap knockoff using a similar name to Roger's to sell it. I saw a 2012 post of his new eBay name during my search but it was not the same as the hood that was listed so that is why I hesitated and didn't buy. Help!!! Anyone able to pass along his info to me as well? Thanks for any help guys!

Thanks FormulaColy! That's what I hoped his username was but like I said, another post somewhere on this site showed something similar with the year 2012 in it and wanted to be sure I'd be dealing with the right guy! Only thing I hate about eBay is the fraud and junk parts being passed off as originals! And sorry, but I'll be keeping the Firehawk hood still, even more rare than the Superhawk

Oh yeah and as far as the search I had mentioned before, it was my search for Superhawk hood postings to get some info on them and how/where to find them when I was ready to buy one! Although when I saw the other eBay username for Roger and had seen the current listing with another, I did try to search usernames!

Here is a new picture of the crappy ebay hood, nowhere near as good as Roger hood but I went over it with another coat of paint and I think it looks a ton better lol

I have a Superhawk hood coming from Roger as well. It's supposed to be at my door on Friday, May 17th. Roger is by far the nicest guy I think I have ever chatted with through text messaging on business. No matter when I text him he replies. If he doesn't reply right away he will apologize multiple times in his message and let you know why he wasn't able to answer you back sooner. I trust this hood will be perfect. He has even kept me updated with pictures of the progress. Another thing that blows my mind is that I alerted him early on that I would hope to be able to have tracking and an estimated delivery date so that I was able to request that day off from work to be at home for the delivery. He worked with me and asked me which day would work best since my hood is now complete and ready to ship. I told him I'd like to take Friday, the 17th off work and he said to do it. He is going to ship me the hood using 1-day shipping and I pay no extra costs. How honest and loyal is that? I'm amazed and haven't even received the hood yet.

Does he only make superhawk hoods? Looking for a oem ws6 style one, would buy one from him if he did. Or if anybody wants to sell me their ws6 hood let me know!

he makes a few other style hoods, but they are his own sort of design. For a real WS6 hood you're going to have to go used, or buy a fiberglass style WS6. "Q" makes a WS9 style and WSQ style hood that are modeled after the WS6 with a few little tweaks.

Well, I got mine around 1pm today. It is gorgeous. Hell, if I had a black TA I would almost say you could get by without painting it. Thats the most glossy gel coat I've ever seen. I've been fighting with getting the hood to align for about an hour or so now though. I'm solo, so it's a little harder to work all the corners by yourself. I think I may have to dremel out the hood hinges some, but the hood looks fantastic overall. It started raining somewhat, so I had to cover the car back up and call it a day. Here are some pics for pleasure;
