Default No tach and P0343 please help. 99 T/A

Hey guys I have a 99 formula with 90k on it. It also has 317 heads, epi cam, and a 78mm turbo. I got the car tuned at 10psi a couple weeks back and I did a short pull in 2(rosseler t2 4l60e 3800 stall) and the car felt good. Drove another 1-2miles and did another pull. This time it just spun so I feathered for a bit and it was no use and I let off. While it was spinning I was watching the rpms and they floated around 5500-5800. Once I started driving normal I noticed a spark knock. So I closed the electric bump and was listening to the noise. Then I noticed I had no rpm gauge. Code was P0343 cam signal high. So I checked the signal wire for less the 5ohms and made sure it had a good power/ground from the pcm. Everything was fine. Removed the intake and pulled the cam sensor out. It looked okay with no metal on the magnetic part of the sensor or and indication it came in contact with the relector wheel. I've searched everywhere and found post on it but not really any help. I did replace the sensor and tried to perform the crank relearn with no luck. From what the tech2 says I have 30° of timing at idle. The tech2 also can read the rpm but I still have no tach. Any ideas would be awesome. Also it will start up fine at time but spark knock and other times extended crank, then when it fires spark knock. It is drivable but I hate the sound of spark knock so it is just sitting for now. Its not my DD.

So I guess I'm the only one having this problem. If I find what fixes it I'll post up what it was.

Did you find out what was wrong with your car? I'm having the same issue.
