Default twitchey lights and volt gauge

on start up my lights and volt gauge twitch annyone run into this the battery is only a year old

Check for a loose battery ground.

did it just start doing this ? I would go after the battery ground as well, how bout a/c? is that on at start up ?

its ben doing it this summer will be the 2nd summer i dont drive the car alot about 2K a year but it seams to do it all the time on start up and in idle i have not had my alternator checked what is a good voltige output for the alternator?

A normal charging system should read about 14.10 volts

The gauge on the car is not very accurate. Lol So make sure they use the reader to see. Anything above 13 on the gauge is good.

yes when ideling or driving the car the volte gauge is twitchey and even some times my lights flicker or slightly dim and go bright again is this a case of a bad altinator? battery is brand new

The brushes in your alt are worn making bad connection. The best thing to do is replace it or have it rebuilt.
