Default Help with firehawk identifican

Hey guys I'm headed to pick up a trans am firehawk. I ran the vin but it didn't it didn't have any info on it being a firehawk. How can I be 100% sure? Please help! Thanks in advance

check the rpo codes in the drivers door. and look for an slp sticker in the door. call slp and give them the vin they will tell u 100% if it is or isnt

What year is the car?
Late-4th gen car, LS1-based, look for WU6 on the RPO sticker.

Or simply input the VIN here & find more detail.

The owner got it free! He seams honest and he said he's an old scoop chevy guy. It looks good either way but the motor looks dirty

That was me posting on my friends iphone.....he gave me a ride to go look at the Firebird. first sign of it not being a Firehawk was that it didnt say it any where but it did say Trans Am. Ws9 Rpo code. It looked good enough so I got it any way.

99 Auto, 89,000 miles. All stock except lid and exhaust. Ill post pics later.

Thanks for the help guys
