Default looking to buy cam'd ls1 questions

Hello all... I currently have a trans am that I got screwed on for buying sight unseen and found what appears to be a very tastefully moded bird. I need some help as to what to look for or ask. Also if its even worth buying. It has 13k miles on the cam. Cam specs are "FUTRAL CAM SPECS-
FMS-F13-112 FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 230"/232" .595"/.585" 112LSA - aggressive profile with a 2500-6800 RPM range, rough idle"
Whats the risk in buying it being that it has 13k miles on it and does that mean it will need work like rocker arms and valve springs replaced soon? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

That cam isnt as aggressive as you think...its more of a mid range cam at least in my book anyway. When you buy a cammed car you have to expect to keep an eye on your springs as a part of routine maintenance because they can get tired over time.

Rocker arms arent usually an issue with an aftermarket cam, at least not in my experience.

There is no risk involved with the car, the only risk is the person owning a cammed car and not knowing how to maintain a cammed car properly.

Thanks for your input! It definitely is helpful. Some more information on the car... car has 87k miles, engine has 13k, tranny clutch and rear has 8k.
