Default Muffler just barely louder than stock

I have a V6 firebird. I am looking for a muffler just a little louder than stock, but nothing like the flowmasters, etc.

I don't want it it advertise that it is a V6. Maybe more of a Ferrari sound.

Thanks!

I also have a v6, and picked up the stock muffler from a z28, and I think it sounds pretty good. It's also ridiculously cheap compared to buying a cat-back (I bought it for $40 at the pick-a-part), so I don't have to spend too much money before getting true duals on there.

Not even v8's will ever have a "Ferrari sound" though.

Magnaflow, at idle it is slightly louder then stock but so long as you KEEP YOUR CATALYTIC CONVERTER you shouldn't get the RASP that plagues most V6's. Also 3.4 or 3.8?

You will never get a "ferrari sound" from the V6's that came in the 4th gen Fbodies, they really are just truck engines.

You will have little luck with the rasp, but the magnaflow is a good choice.

We have them available here.
That is for the entire stainless catback. tips and all. Bolts right up.
Or we can get just the muffler and you can do with it what you want
OR we can get you just the crossflow muffler for around $130.

And the 3.8s never came in the trucks. GM got this design from aussie land primarily.

What about the walker quiet flow 3 for the Z28 application?

I guess I deserve the chides for the Ferrari comment. I just meant that restrained but powerful sound. The last thing I want it to sound like is a ricer!

BTW, I like the sound of the vibrant ultra quiet resonator, but can figure out how to fit it into the single exhaust system that does go to duals until after the muffler. I am not looking to buy a whole new catback system.
