Default Ticking noise

My 99 T/A just started ticking the other day and i have no idea what it is. The ticking gets faster as engine speed gets faster any ideas?

can you determine if it is in a head? If so, you could have heads rebuilt, or go with a built 799 / 243 head. One of my old cars did that, I would pour in STP Oil treatment or Motor Honey and the noise would go away, I know it was a bad spring, or sticking lifter, something fukd up in the head but it was a daily driver and that masked it pretty good.
