Has anybody moved there driver seat?
Just curious if anyone has ever moved the driver seat back, looking at a M6 car and its a tad tight with the clutch, wondering if I can remount the driver seat back about 2/3 inches, no one will ever sit behind me,

Was the AG1 a better "6-Way Pwr Driver Seat" option maybe?
In any case, when I was scrubbing CompNine for RPO combinations, regardless of which color leather a T/A had, the same number also had AG1, but fewer had AQ9. This leads me to believe that AG1 came standard in the T/A, but AQ9 was optional.
Not so for the Firbirds and Formulas. While the number of cloth interiors w/ AG1 were less than the total number of cloth interiors of a given color, when the Firebird or Formula opted for a leather interior, the number w/ AG1 more closely approached the number of total leather interiors of a given color. This leads me to believe that AG1 was not standard on either the Firebird or Formula, but nearly all Firebirds and Formulas w/ leather also had AG1. With only 3 exceptions (which I suspect may have been '98 proto-types or "COPO" cars.......one of which was one of the 2 '98 Formula WS6 'verts that were special-ordered), zero Firebirds and Formulas had AQ9.
NOTE: The above info is based on the LS1 years, '98-'02. The picture becomes a little fuzzier in '93-'97. It seems that maybe the definition of what AG1 and AQ9 were in those years was reversed......even in T/As there were more w/ AQ9 than AG1.

My Formula has RPO code AG1 on it... it has power seats, and a cloth interior. My understanding is the AG1 seat was the power seat without lumbar support, regardless of whether it was leather or cloth.
This is interesting though... here's an RPO sticker from a 2002 Trans Am WS6 that has both AG1 and AQ9 on it. That makes the whole thing about as clear as mud, doesn't it? LOL
