Got ALOT done today.

Got underneath to clean up the oil residue from 20 years of service.
Probably the closest for her to doing "wheels up"
[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Got a pack of wire shields
[IMG][/IMG]

Got a little more cleaning on the lower end too.......can ANYONE tell me what that loose hose goes to though?!?!?!?!?!?!
[IMG][/IMG]

Took the coil packs from my old ICM (it blew resistors) to see if they were still serviceable. They are and come to find out....AC Delco. So they will be going back in. Glad I didn't throw them out
[IMG][/IMG]

And saw this a few houses from me
[IMG][/IMG]

And this up my *** for 5 1/2 miles

Used to have a fire extinguisher in my old Volkswagen so I transferred it to the Firebird. Just need to come up with a mounting bracket.

You are getting a lot done. That prowler is pretty cool too.

Im hoping to get a lot more done than where Im at. When I lived in the UK, I spent most of my off time under the hood of a lot of my cars....mostly that MX-6. My girl hates that she comes home to a "dirty" house (its not that bad) because Im in the garage all day babying my Firebird. Its funny...never thought Id be keen to anything American made.....but I guess part of being a car enthusiast is giving every car a chance at something better than most would give it

So today the girlfriend had me on the agenda to till the front and back yard....me thinking I wont be able to get any Bird repairs done.
So I went to True Value to rent a tiller and they harmoniously laughed that I wanted to put a tiller in the back of a Firebird.....well 3 hours and 2 trips later....SUCCESS! Trucks...HA!! Not needed

Put the subs and custom box back in.....Needs some modifications to level it out. Going to redo the whole wiring setup because a lot of it is either ghetto or crispy

I went to a car show today and saw a yellow prowler. It made me think of this thread.

Are you painting the hood with the rattle can? Im also seeing VHT night shade. Tinting tail lights?

Im probably going to get the hood done professionally just because I want to put a bird on the hood. No tinting at this point in time

My day has come down to a few more things....and some hunting is required....any help is needed and appreciated...thanks!

Biggest change which comes down to my temperature gauge is the extension

These come down to the hatch/trunk area: Questions come down to....where do I get the hydraulic boots and should I replace the hatch/wing because of cracked and chipped fiberglass??
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

My typical cleaning...I HATE plastic that's formed to look like "leather" with the texture...hard as f*ck to clean when poorly neglected
[IMG][/IMG]

Drain gutters came out great for 160k Texas car...many think "oh itll be dry and rust free"....true but even dirts messes up the paint...clean here
[IMG][/IMG]

And does ANYONE know how to get dirt out of these?! I don't want to take them out and find out there's no solution

I have a flat black hood bird on my black TA. It made the car stand out pretty well. Are you going to have the bird painted on? Mine is a one piece vinyl decal, but they mostly come in 2 pieces.

Most definitely a decal. Just for ease of application

Make sure you get some help, take the extra time to be POSITIVE it is centered and even, and work all of the bubbles out starting in the middle working to the edges. Those tail lights look oxidized. I would replace them.
