How to remove 98+ headlight assembly

i need to get at the socket for the headlight motor to cut an splice in a new one. It would be nice to get everything out of the way. I cant find a write up or diagram on how to take out the assembly.... help

You'll have to take the motor out first and there are write-ups on that with the threads on gear replacement. Once you have it out, I recall there are just two hinge bolts holding the unit to the car.
