I've removed all "baffles" from my hood. I haven't noticed anything good nor bad, but atleast I know the air is going straight into the box unrestricted, which is what I aimed for.

Doesn't that greatly increase the possibilty of hydrolocking the engine while driving in the rain since you can now suck water directly into the TB?

Not at all. For one, I don't have to worry about any of that because I don't drive my T/A in the rain. And two, even if rain drops were to get passed the "baffle" area, they'd be vapored by the time they got to or through the air filter. No, you don't have to worry about hydrolocking it at all in rain. The only way that'd happen would be if you submerged the car in water by a flood or an extremely deep area of collected water at the bottom of a hill or something. They're really there to keep big things out like bugs and such.

yes a Fast toys ram air will definatley shovel up water into your intake. Speak from experience. The water wanted even to the bottom of my door. I just went fast enough for it to shovel it up in the motor and broke #7 rod.
