Talking 1989 Trans Am GTA *Another Project*

Well I recently sold my 2000 Trans Am "Blk Betty" and am going to finish building my 68 c10 ls swap truck, but.....decided to get another project car to tinker with as well. I've had a few third gens in the past, but I've always wanted a GTA and recently was able to find one for a pretty good deal.

Car is 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA and is equipped with the L98 350TPI & a 700r4. The GTA has all wheel disc brakes, pwr windows and locks. I figured I'd use it every now and then and once I finish building my truck, Ill be doing an LS swap to this one as well.

Here are some pics of it in its current condition as I bought it.

My 72 will have a frame off restoration with 30k + put into it. My truck needs about 8k to be stout, and this GTA will take about another 8-10k for a nice LS swap + suspension.

I have an addication Daniel, don't judge me!

That is all.

Which means my youngest will graduate college before u finish maybe ONE project. Can't blame u for the first two LS1 Camaros, **** happens, but......

EXAMPLE: Since 1999, u've had 3 LS1's, 1 TB SS, 2 Third gens, and 1 C10 = could've had one awesome 72' Camaro..............

Where's that Kermit the Frog none of my business meme??????????

I was trying to be modest, and u made it look even more ludicrous...........

"Compulsive shopping may be considered an impulse control disorder, an obsessive-compulsive disorder, a bipolar disorder, or even a clinical addiction, depending on the clinical source."

That about sums it up.........

Ive had the new spoiler hawksthirdgen fiberglass spoiler since I bought the car, came with it. Just need to drill it and put it on.

Finished putting on my centerline warrior wheels, just torn between having all four centers plasti dipped, or leaving them polished.

Also ordered a new aluminum distributor cover cap that I will be polishing along with a spare plenum and runners that I had laying around.

also got some suspension goodies for the car. BMR relocation brackets and Founders tubular poly ended lower control arms with new mounting hardware.

Here's a pic of the new Hawks third gen fiberglass wing that came with the car.
