I got the Motor mounts done on friday, we welded them in, and spray painted them black

the cowl was then cut, and i will soon order a carburetor Bonnet so i can run an air cleaner

Awesome build, this is my first page visit on LS1Tech and I like seeing this. I hope to see this project finished soon!

A real Pontiac can get down to aluminum LS weight and push 600ci with the blocks we have these days. While not cheap, Butler and Kaufmann both sell aluminum blocks.

from what i know i'm pretty sure they should work. have not tested them so i don't know if the motors work or not. I hope they do because i'm about out of money

I lowered my rack 1". So the motor sets lower in the engine bay.

I probably should of done that so I could run an air cleaner, but I guess I could just buy a cowl hood

I made one pass with this wheel polish kit. They look better

than the pics show.

I did get the fuel pump replaced and all new fuel lines made.
