Hey all. My first post here and was looking for some opinions and a little help. I just purchased a 2002 trans am in the Chicagoland area. The original owner was from Georgia and had a good amount of mods done to it at vengeance racing in GA. I will list the build sheet. I'm not looking for much more power. Just looking to get over 400rwhp. Opinions on fast 92 intake? Or other options. Even though I wasn't a member here, this site has been great. Gives a great opportunity to learn. Thanks guys. Also..I totally love this car hahaha. Heres the info from vengeance racing. Trans Am has approx 450hp at crank(387 at the wheels) and gobs of usable power "under the curve" from around 2200 rpm to 5500 rpm.

Yank Stealth Torque Converter (2800 stall), Hooker "Axle-Back" exhaust with dual twin tips (WS6 style), Comp Cam (specs: 224/228 dur, .581/588 lift, lsa:114), TEA .650 dual gold springs, Comp 5/16 7.400 hardened pushrods, Comp trunion kit for stock rockers, Powerbond 25% underdrive pulley with gates belt, American Racing 13/4 Long Tube headers, NGK TR55 plugs, ported and polished throttle body (92mm), SLP Cold Air kit, Dyno tuned using EFI Live. All professionally installed and tuned at Vengeance Racing of Cummings GA.

So all you're basically wanting is another 13 hp to break that 400 rwhp mark?

Gotcha! Well then a fast 92 should put you right about there. Looks like you got the rest of the bolt ons, good exhaust, etc...Ever consider doing some heads?

Save up for some heads. Cam and heads go together. I believe there was a sticky on the cam/head package.

Heads for me would be a definite option in the near future. Ultimately 400-450 rwhp would be what I would like to top out at. I'll probably try the fast intake first and work from there. Would the TB that I have be fine for the fast 92??
