Default Power steering whine after two new pumps!

2000 Transam Firehawk. PS whines very loudly when the wheel turns ONLY AFTER the car warms up. First I replaced the PS pump. No help. Then I took it to a shop and they blamed the cheap pump I put in. They replaced with a "better" pump and purged/bled the lines. No help. Should I replace the rack? NO leaks...ever.

Had a similar problem with my formula;
When I replaced my pump I refilled it with "power steering fluid" and I had the whine.
I replaced the pump again and it still whined.
I drained the fluid and replaced with Dexron ATF and it was quiet.

I'm not sure what you are running for fluid, but if you are using the clear power steering fluid, you might try changing to ATF.

Did you eliminate the PS oil cooler flush the system and add a aftermarket cooler. The stock coolers are known for causing coolant contamination that can cause a whine and repeat pump failures. If you search you will find a thread a mile long with full rundown on the failure and the fix.
