Default What is this?

First time TA owner, just got this TA. Wondering what this line is that is on the drivers side fender well? Appears to be a quick disconnect of some sort. It goes down behind engine between firewall and engine but it is hard to trace from above and I haven't jacked it up yet to look underneath. Any thoughts?

Looks like you have a Tick performance adjustable master cylinder. That is the speed bleeder line for it, so you can quickly and easily bleed/change the clutch fluid out.

Looks more like a hose/line.

Its a speed bleeder for the clutch, I cannot tell what brand. It does not mean you have a Tick master cylinder installed.

Like everyone said it is a speed bleeder for your clutch. It goes all the way down to your slave cylinder and makes it easier to bleed your clutch hydraulics. This part was added to your car and is not factory. Now if you want to know if you have a adjustable master cylinder or not you can look under your dash at the clutch pedal linkage. If is a steel smooth rod it is stock, but if it has a turnbuckle with threaded rod it is a adjustable master cylinder.

As others have mentioned, that is our remote clutch bleeder line for your vehicle's clutch hydraulic system. Late model GM vehicles like the one you own now use a hydraulically actuated throw out bearing which is affixed to what is known as a slave cylinder. This slave cylinder is actuated by the master cylinder which is attached to your clutch pedal.

We manufacture many different parts for your vehicle's clutch hydraulic system including a part a few have mentioned in here already. Our adjustable master cylinder is a great addition to any 6 speed equipped vehicle and makes shifting at high RPM much easier and faster.

Hope this helps.
