ly6 swap in my 99 trans am questions Hi everyone. I have a 99 trans am v8 auto and im looking to do a ly6 swap with the l92 heads. I am not sure what i will need to put it in? also keep should i keep the VVT or delete. plan on doing a cam swap as well. The car is a street car driven on nice days. any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to LS1tech!
As the '99 PCM won't support the VVT, you should delete it.
You'll also need to yank the 58x crank reluctor wheel and sensor and convert to 24x.
AND convert the cam gear to 1x AND you'll need the cable to extend the cam sensor plug in the harness from the rear to the front.
Don't forget to re-use the oil pressure sensor from the Firebird engine or get a new one from a GM parts counter (the aftermarket ones are crap and it's a bad location to mess with later on).
