Default Passenger marker doesnt work..

so i know if the markers dont work the blinkers wont work... but my marker on my passenger side doesnt light up at all (changed the bulb still doesnt work) and my blinker obviously doesnt work..

however im lost on what to do cause when i turn on my head lights the marker illuminates however i still dont get the use of my blinker.

could it possibly be a relay or fuse?

FYI my bulb terminal is very corroded, is there a replacement piece or do i have to just be a man and scrub the hell out of it?

If the socket is bad, just replace it. Easy to find in parts stores.

I think that if there's something wrong with the turn signal bulb in the bumper, the side marker won't work.

If you're having issues with the turn signal sockets: http://www.ls2.com/forums/showthread...=turn%20signal

What do you mean by bright mode and dim mode? Are you talking about the high beams and low beams?

Do your hazards work? If not, that's a good easy confirmation that you have a wire/socket problem.

Yes, I am confused too. To me the marker lights would be the rectangular ones on the side of the fender and there is no dim and bright mode. They come on when either the park lights or headlights are on.

The front turn signals do have a dim and bright mode because the bulb has 2 filaments in it. Both are lit when the park and headlights are off and this double bright mode is the daytime running lights. When the park/headlights are on this bulb has only one filament lit, when you use the turn signal the second filament is lit to flash.

If we are talking about the DRL/turn signal light then just replace that socket, their going out is a very common issue and the replacements are pretty cheap. Just splice them in and use some heat shrink tubing over the splice and you are good.
