Mecum sells 2002 CE Trans Am
Just watching yesterdays coverage of the Mecum's Dallas auction. A collectors edition convertible with 6 speed sold for only (IMO) $16,500, not including fees.
The mileage wasn't mentioned, but it looked mint. It was a WS6, too. I don't know if all the CE's were WS6's or 'verts, maybe the experts can chime in.
The commentators were quite enthusiastic about the 4th gen TA's.

All CE cars were WS6s. Having the M6 brings value up, but desirability of convertibles is generally pretty low among 4th gen enthusiasts.
Without knowing the mileage, it's hard to know whether the price is surprising or not. The CE color and graphics scheme is also quite polarizing for many, so if the right folks weren't at the auction then an average 4th gen collector might not be all that interested in a CE 'vert car.
