Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone has a build sheet for there firebird/Camaro like this one in the pic and where do I get started for getting a copy of one for my 1997 trans am thanks for your help.

I heard sometimes they are under the rear seat cushion, at least on the older cars.

I've never seen a build sheet left in these cars. As the car moved around the factory getting built, the build paperwork is stuck on the outside so the workers can read it.

You can go to any GM dealer parts department and with your VIN, get a RPO printout.

On my car you can see a perfect overspray pattern on the front crash bar where it was attached with a piece of masking tape while the car was moving down the assembly lines. I cant count how many of these cars I have worked on and completely tore down through the years I have never found or seen a single build sheet in a 4th gen.

There's very little chance you will be lucky enough to find a build sheet for the 4th Gen cars. When my 2000 SS was delivered, I told them to leave the plastic on the seats,tag on the console, and all paperwork exactly as it was when the car left the factory. I found the build sheet folded up inside the centre console.

Unfortunately, the Firehawk's build sheet is long gone, probably thrown out during PDI. I have everything else, though, including a copy of the shipping manifest.
