LS1 Fuel Pump for Supercharged 3.8L
Does anyone know if an in-tank fuel pump for an LS1 f-body like this http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...fit-fuel-pump/ will fit directly in a 3.8L v6 model? My supercharged 2000 3.8L W68 is at the shop getting tuned and to no ones surprise the stocker can't keep up. The car should be making similar horsepower to a stock LS1 car so I'm sure that flow wise it will be sufficient, but I'm not sure if it's a direct fit or if any other modifications will be needed. I have seen that some of the in-tank pumps require the tank to be at least 1/4 full at all times, so i would like to stay away from those. Any input would be greatly appreciated

I installed a walbro 255 in my v6 tank when I swapped to a v8. So you should be good, though I did use the wiring harness that was offered a the time, want to say it was called a hotwire kit, uses a larger gauge wire from the relay under the dash to the pump.
I think it was said at the time that pump model I used wasnt a direct replacement but I dont actually remember having any issues installing it into the sending unit.
