Default Brake booster

I bought a 99 Trans Am roller that had been sitting in a field for several years with the brake booster left open, along with the AC bits. Not sure what to do with the AC, but should the brake booster be replaced before running the engine?

Unless it filled with water or there's a bee's or hornet's nest in it, the brake booster should be fine.

The AC stuff should be replaced. Anything in any of the lines, including the evaporator, will spoil the charge.

I mean the part of the Ac unit that is attached to the firewall. Thanks for the help paul

It would be a good idea to fill up the brake reservoir, and then bleed the brakes. Moisture and air are surely in the brake lines if the cap was left off.

No that was left together, it's the brake booster that had the vacuum line disconnected that I'm concerned about
