Can WS6 hood be cut to fit Mast 4500 single plane intake?
As the title says, I'm looking at a Mast 4500 single plane intake setup. I don't want to get away from the stock look, but that intake setup is required to make gains. Not feeling the huge aftermarket cowl hoods, and I'm not going to be making 4 digit HP numbers.
Wondering if anyone knows if you can cut a stock WS6 hood to fit this setup.

Yeah, I know hacking the cowl is gonna happen. I'm ok with that. I'm just not liking the looks of a regular 4in cowl hood. Car will be running with street tire setup. Looks goofy to me without a drag pack.

That MAST intake is crazy! I'm surprised I haven't seen too many low-profile 4500 LS intakes on the market.
Is there any way to lower the engine in the later F-Body?

Check out this guys for sale ad. He has picture of how his cowl is cut to fit. I don't see how the hood is cut if it's raise cowl hood.
