Picked up an aftermarket WS6 hood, question about grille inserts
 

I want to make this thing look as good as I can, got it cheap and needs to be repaired a bit anyway and was wondering if its possible to put OEM grille inserts in it to replace the shitty looking chicken wire. I know it's require drilling and stuff, but has anyone done this?

Not sure if it helps, but I recall one thread where they just double-sided taped the OEM Grilles over the chicken wire.
