After doing a few test parts and getting a feel for the material I went all in on a door trim bezel. I am very happy for my 3rd attempt at this. Now onto the arm rest..... full disclosure I'm not excited about the door lock recess, but I knew going in that was gonna be a tough area to work with...... I'll have to trim it out better and seam a section in there to hide the red.

Thanks, that's been the concensus thus far.

I've given up on the lcd displays. I still like it, i just dont think it suites the car anymore.

It's not a luxury car haha its an advanced restomod at this point.

Repainted speaker grills (doors for now). Used plastidip..... really liking the difference in texture and it being black instead of ebony.

Been working on my Camaro a lot lately so the Byrd had taken a back seat, but I've had fluid changes on the list for a while. While at street rod nationals I got to put my hands on a set of Race Ramps and couldn't turn down the show price. I was on the fence due to the foam design, but in hand changed my opinion greatly. Got the 12 inch high which makes a perfect height for working on stuff. I'm glad I had that room because when I got under the car to do it I noticed my exhaust was rubbing the fuel tank and ...... well I guess I'm lucky..... so I ordered the missing shield and installed it, and did some exhaust wrap for extra insulation (and sound deadening) while i had it all apart. Oddly enough the end result was way better exhaust alignment than when I started.

While I was at it decided it was a good time to re adjust my coilovers. My wheel gap was consistent front to back, but it led to the rear looking lower visuallly. So went up .5 inch in the rear and I'm much happier with the look.

So next is brake fluid and clutch fluid.
