picked these up from another member back in november and finally got around to installing the adjustible panhard bar and relocation bracket so i could put them on. 17x9.5 and 17x11 black chrome zr1s. Went with nitto nt555s up front and 315 et street s/s' in back..no more spinning now.

Looks good.

You've gotten more done so far this year than I have. I finally got the cars uncovered this week, charged the batteries and have started thinking about driving them. They haven't moved since October.

Were you at the Corner Bakery at Village Crossing? I was in the same mall last night, at the Jewel.

They came that way....however the company that originally sold them doesn't sell them anymore in that style. He bought them used from someone.

Thanks, nope no problems with these tires, had to do some light hammering of the inner wheel wells but very minimum.

These wheels look great in low light, its too bad they dont make them anymore..

Those look great. Nice Choice.

So I have just ordered wheels with the same dimensions, and currently have 275/40R17s on the stock Firehawk wheels. I've read where I can use them on the back 17x11s, but with them stretched out on the 11in wide wheels, how would that look vs the fronts on 9.5 wide wheels? Any driving issues?

Or should I just buy wider tires?

Thanks and sorry if this is considered a Hijack.

Oh man I'd keep the firehawk wheels, love those..but I would buy wider tires..there arent many sizes to choose from in 17" There are only like 2 sizes of drag radials that would fit on there, either 315/35/17 or 305/45/17..anything smaller would be too stretched on an 11" wide wheel.

Im in the process of buying new rims. They kinda look like yours wich yours look sweet. So if i go with a 305 in the back would i have any issues with rubbing and will 305s fit on a 9.5" rim thanks

Well I would keep them and I am, just they have seen better days. When I bought my Hawk, it came with 16in ABS wheels, and I tracked down this set of Hawk wheels.

The chrome is flaking and one wheel no matter what they do to it will not hold air, has a slow leak and I have to air up every time I drive it. (it is a weekend toy) 2 wheels are out of round and you can feel the vibrations. So keeping them, but retiring them.

I found a set of Nitto NT555 G2s in 285/40r17. That looks like fit a 11in wide wheel perfectly. So probably going to throw those on the back. I don't think I need the drag radials for my style of driving.
