Default Dash Voltage Gauge - dropping at stop lights

2001 Firebird 3.8 - daughters car.

She is very good at watching her gauges, says at a stop the voltage drops on the gauge (when voltage drops she says oil pressure gauge goes up).

Right turn blinker is not working, (light is on, no blink front or rear) so we are changing bulbs today.

No other symptoms so trying to figure out if there is a problem or not, will report back after bulb switch.

Thanks for any replies.

Default Update

Ok - so just started it up and everything is fine, gauges are all good and blinkers are working.

According to her, the gauge does not start fluctuating until it warms up. ??

Automatic Transmission? My first thing to check when this happens is a dying torque converter. Does this happen in Park? In Neutral?

What happens with the A/C on or off while at a stop light?

Maybe the Alternator is going bad and needs RPM, but that might be a little odd.

It could also be the flasher. If you turn on the hazards, that will confirm. I you have a burned bulb with the hazards on, that will show which one. If they all light - you'll know its the turn flasher.

Thank you ....WSSIX99

It is odd, has been running and acting fine the last couple days.

It is an automatic, but without any further symptoms I guess we will just wait and see.

So I told her to get out and wash it, might have been the only issue was the Bird was dirty.
