The terminal on my '99 is p/n 12089446. It's called a Pin Grip terminal and is a very old style of terminal that I don't believe is used in cars any more. You can verify that your terminals are the same by comparing to the Delphi .tif drawing: http://ecat.delphi.com/feature?search=12089446
To get a good crimp, they also require a special crimper... You'll need a J-38125-7 or 12085271 crimper and use the "A" die. The terminal is cut specially to take that die.
The crimper is probably the hardest thing to come by, here although every GM dealer will have one in their wiring repair kit.
If you can't get a hold of the terminal, can get a crimper, and still want to do this, I can hook you up with some. I have a few left over from when I re-worked the wire harnesses in my doors.
