My first F-body Just picked up my first F-body last weekend. It does have a rod knock, but I got it for a song. Initial plans are to replace the blown ls1 with a lq4 I had laying around from a past mustang project. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/ls1tech...93370ca2ac.jpg |
Looks good, good luck with your project. |
Looks good, I hope your project is uneventful and lots of fun. |
Triple-white ragtop T/A, nice. |
Thanks for the replies. I'm currently freshening up the motor. For now, this will be a stock rebuild. I want to get the car back on the road and enjoy it. I haven't had a running muscle car since I parted out my lsx mustang almost 10 years ago, so I'm pretty excited about it. |
Looks good! Good luck with build! |

haha I remember that day was so good to get the 3800 out and know how close I was to getting the LS in. I've been pondering a convertible for a few months seems like it would just be a fun car. |
6.0L LQ4 first start |
Awesome! |
I drove her to work today for the first time, 110 miles in all ( top was up. A little chilly out). She has decent power and runs smooth. The front struts make a little noise, but overall I'm really happy with her. Can't wait til it warms up again! |
Glad you got her up and running again! The white top cars are pretty rare, aren't they? |
