Lost my original key and found my 2 spares....locked in my trunk 👌 Neither spare works. When I insert the keys they both run the normal start up lights and sounds, but they won't engage the starter I guess? Shuts everything off when I turn the keys, my original was working fine so I'm guessing it's the chip? The spares are brand new and the fob they came on is even synchronized with my alarm system. 🤔 any fixes? Or is it gonna cost me more money if I don't find this key?

try this
Turn the key to Run but not to start and leave it for a minimum of 10 minutes.
Turn to Off.
Remove key
Reinsert and see if it starts.
